​Thank you for your participation in Saturday's tournament at Concordia Golf Club! 

 

And yes, we finally got a decent weather (i.e., no rain) at Concordia. And the players took advantage resulting in 3 players successfully carding sub-70 scores. One of these players had an amazing round, displaying absolute dominance in owning Concordia. That player is no other than Mr. Jay Talag!  Posting a minus 11 (60) net score, no other players came close to catching Jay - enroute to his 2nd victory of the season. Group 3 players had the privilege of witnessing Jay's near perfect round. It seemed like Jay was not only in the zone but rather, he actually found the meaning of his golf life. Utterly awe-inspiring performance, indeed!

The other 2 players with sub-70 scores are Hector Layson (64) and Jojo Valerio (68).  With their great performance, both Hector and Jojo broke into the top 5 rankings of the FedEx competition. Top 5 FedEx Leaderboard now stands as follows:

Jay Talag                  = 234.5

Elmer Sadiangabay = 170.0

Joe Dugenio            = 150.5

Hector Layson         = 141.0

Jojo Valerio              = 140.0

Low Gross for the tournament belongs to Jojo and Elmer who posted 84 for the round. 

 

​Next opportunity for a strong camaraderie but tight competition is on Saturday - June 6 at the Cedar Creek Golf Club.
